Our final veg box

​There have been ups and there have been downs, but we hope you agree that we have brought our veg box customers delicious, healthy, chemical free veg every week since July. 

It's certainly been a challenge growing and harvesting a range of produce for 50-60 people every week. For some veggies that turned out to be more than we could manage - that's a whole lotta peas! Whereas with others we made it easy - there are still plenty of potatoes in our store.  We had some 'losers' - the carrots were a bit small due to "weed-agedon," and some 'winners' - the tomatoes were juicy and the Autumn raspberries delectable. 

This is why it's so great having the support of our box scheme customers. We can share in the highs and lows and still reliably bring some money in. We can guarantee folk high-nutrient veggies with the understanding that some of them will be better than others!  It's also nice getting to know some of you and for you to become familiar with the farm.
